I’ve been busy at the shop with my coworkers, teaching Vedic Meditation courses and hosting weekly group meditations, gardening, deep belly laughing with family and friends, trail running with the dogs, and helping my folks with home projects. I'm back in the salon beginning in May!

I hope this message finds you all in good health and spirits. After 12 weeks of immersing myself in the profound teachings of Vedic knowledge, undergoing rigorous training, and meditating for an astounding 14 hours a day for a month, I am thrilled to announce that I have returned home, feeling more inspired, grounded, and centered than ever as a certified Vedic Meditation Teacher.

This transformative journey, guided by my esteemed teacher, Thom Knoles - taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi - has been nothing short of extraordinary. With roughly 2500 hours of dedicated training, including 12,360 minutes of meditation, I have had the privilege of receiving the timeless wisdom of Vedic Meditation exactly as it was passed down for thousands of years from master to student, culminating in the profound honor of being approved and entrusted to teach this ancient practice to the world by Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji, the designated Shankaracharya of Northern India. If receiving his blessing to teach wasn't enough, he even called me Jata Devi, which means "dreadlock goddess" in Sanskrit. I'm still freaking out about it!

I am overflowing with gratitude for this enriching experience and am filled with excitement as I step into my new role as a Vedic Meditation Teacher. My heart is brimming with love and anticipation as I prepare to share the profound benefits of this practice with all who are curious and interested.

VEDIC MEDITATION:
I will be at an immersive training program in India to become a Vedic Meditation Teacher, learning about the traceable lineage that goes back thousand of years, how to initiate students into the practice and provide lifetime support for them and more. This 12-week training will commence at the end of January and conclude at the end of April in 2024.

I will be offering a Free Intro Talk for Vedic Meditation and an in-person course at the end of April for any of you who want to start a meditation practice that is designed for the every day busy person and is completely effortless and produces immediate results like a reduction of stress, improved sleep, and more creativity and happiness. If this sounds even faintly charming to you, you will have an opportunity to attend a Free Intro Talk when I return.

WHEN I'M BACK IN THE SHOP:
I'll be back in the salon the first week of May, and you can already book appointments for that time. Given the expected surge in demand, I highly recommend prebooking your spring and summer appointments with me for the new year as soon as possible.
