Many of our clients have asked the details for my dad’s estate sale so I am sharing the info here. Rain or shine all of the shopping is inside!

Looking for a new salon home?

This year and moving forward we have decided not to offer gift certificates any longer. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our schedules are so busy that we don’t want to sell a gift certificate and not have an opening to schedule an appointment. (This does not pertain to Cindy she will still be offering gift certificates for hair services with her) Thank you for your understanding.

Important notice Heather and Emily will be changing the salon hours for 2026 and cutting Saturday hours completely. We are encouraging everyone to schedule appointments ahead of time to ensure availability. If you are a currently a client and would like to schedule your appointments for all of 2026 please text the salon phone at (815) 573-5457 and we would be happy to do that for you. Thank you!

I must sound like a broken record at this point but I’m going to say it again… PLEASE if you know you are sick or have been sick call and reschedule your appointment! Waiting until your appointment is finished then telling your tech or stylist that you’re just getting over COVID is unacceptable. When one of us gets Covid it affects everyone. Please be considerate of others.

PLEASE if you are sick or think you maybe coming down with something please stay home. At this time we can not take the chance of bringing sickness into our homes. We appreciate everyone being considerate and not sharing their germs. 🦠

IMPORTANT NOTICE - If you are sick please stay home and we would be happy to reschedule your appointment. With Covid/ the Flu and RSV going around we are asking that anyone showing cold or flu-like symptoms or with a fever reschedule their appointment.

As many will appreciate, we are self employed and we simply cannot afford to get sick because someone has knowingly come to their appointment sick.

This is devastating to small businesses such as each one of ours and will, of course, have an even bigger impact on client appointments as a whole.

I fully understand that, at times, this will be inconvenient to all of us, but I can assure you that we will do all we can to accommodate appointments when you are feeling better and will get you in as a priority booking.

Reminder of our cancellation policy again. If appointments are not canceled with 24 hour notice or you simply choose not to show up for your scheduled appointment you will be required to pay 100% of the service you were scheduled to receive before scheduling another appointment. If you have additional appointments scheduled those will be canceled until cancellation/no show payment is received.

No call/no show appointments have been a HUGE issue this week. Just a reminder this is the salon cancellation policy (for Heather and Emily). Cancellations without 24 hour advanced notice result in 3 people losing out: You lose your appointment time, others who were waiting for an opening loose their chance to schedule an appointment, and your tech does not get paid for those scheduled appointment times. No one wants to go to work to not get paid. Please be considerate and cancel with as much notice as possible.
