THANKFUL

I could complain. I could list all of the things I didn’t achieve this year. I could go on and on with the negatives BUT I’m choosing to spend the holiday focused on the positives. Every win counts. Even the small ones.

We will do great things today and this week, BUT ONLY after being fully caffeinated

Mondays mean back to the grind 🥹 but I am taking steps to reclaim my peace and self care 🧘🏾‍♀️

I’m learning that sometimes we as parents spend too much time planning and preparing, and not enough time listening to the needs of our children. We try to give them all these things that we ourselves didn’t have growing up, but did we ask if they even want them? I was entirely guilty of that this weekend, but it’s fine. The lesson was learned.

I won’t force him to play if he’s feeling shy or anxious. I won’t even make him sit through the new Paw Patrol movie when he’d rather be at home in bed. I’ll see the ending eventually.

From now on, we stay in the house, eat snacks and take naps 😂

I’m finding it to be a a lot more zigs and zags, even some dashes and skipped lines 😭. But I won’t stop chasing it
