🌞🍎 BGISD Child Nutrition is offering free meals throughout the summer to all children and teens aged 18 and under. The program runs from May 26 through July 31, 2026, however specific dates vary by location. All meals must be eaten on-site.

A little late, but better than never — the happiest of belated birthdays to ACTION, Inc. 🌤️

Six years ago, ACTION was formed in the middle of the pandemic — in a backyard, six feet apart — by five moms who believed in one big dream: bringing fun, safety, and support to kids and teens in our community.

Little did we know it would grow into what it is today: something so much bigger than ourselves, employment for 17+ individuals, and a mental health facility serving more than 400 kids each year.

Happy birthday to our precious organization. ☀️💛

And shout out to our staff for blessing our founder and Executive Director with a cake for the big day — can you believe that just 2.5 years ago, she wrote in her New Year’s resolutions that ACTION, Inc. was too stressful and would probably close? But look at this community. Look at what can happen when people keep showing up.
