Rashes, spots, bumps, moles, and skin changes can look very similar but have very different causes. A proper diagnosis often requires actually seeing and examining your skin and sometimes additional testing or a biopsy.
So when we say, “We’ll need you to come in so we can take a look,” we’re not trying to make things difficult. We want to make sure you receive the right diagnosis and the right treatment. 💙

Advocating for our patients on Capitol Hill! 🇺🇸
Dr. Weinstein joined dermatologists from across the country in Washington, D.C., advocating to protect Medicare patients’ access to physician care and address proposed Medicare payment cuts.
We’re proud of Dr. Weinstein for taking his patients’ voices all the way to Capitol Hill and after a busy few days of advocacy, he’ll be back in the office tomorrow caring for his patients! 💙

Proposed Medicare reimbursement changes could impact access to essential dermatology and skin cancer services.

Protect Medicare. Protect Patient Access. Stop the Cuts. 🇺🇸
Today, Dr. Weinstein spoke with Congresswoman Lois Frankel from our Boynton Beach Skin office to advocate for our patients and urge Congress to stop proposed Medicare cuts that threaten access to physician care.
Policies currently under consideration by Medicare could make it harder for patients to access the physicians they need in the future, including the dermatologists who diagnose and treat skin cancer. Proposed cuts for 2027 would especially impact services used to find and treat skin cancer early.
Dr. Weinstein will travel to Capitol Hill this weekend to continue carrying this message to Congress:
STOP the Medicare cuts.
PROTECT patient access to physicians.
SAVE skin cancer care.
Our patients deserve continued access to timely, high-quality care and physicians must continue to advocate for them.
