Beauty Secret # 2 - Dark Circles and Red Lipstick.
If you have dark circles under your eyes that concealer won't soften, try using red lipstick! It really works! Apply red lipstick under eyes and blend very well. Then apply your concealer over it, blend softly and apply your makeup as usual. Always remember to use a good firm concealer brush for best results. Beauty secret # 1 - Exfoliate, Exfoliate Exfoliate.
My mother always had beautiful skin. One day when I was a little girl, I was watching her wash her face and I noticed she took kosher salt and ivory soap and made a mixture paste in the palm of her hand. She gently applied it in a circular motion to her face. When I asked her what she was doing she replied, "I don't know but my mother always did this and her skin was so soft". After she was through, she let me touch her face and I felt the softness. She didn't know at the time she was sloughing off the dead skin and that is what is called exfoliation. Men shave every day and that is why their skin looks great as they age.
There are now a wide variety of products which makes it easier to exfoliate. I exfoliate every day in the shower.
