Here in Montana, we're made up of people who move a whole lot. We ski, run, lift, climb, hike, bike, hunt, fish, train, and have a tendency to push ourselves hard indoors and outdoors, year-round.
There's a strong culture that prioritizes performance, discipline, and resilience, and for good reason. We work hard, play hard, and are dedicated to living our best and most active lives.
But there's also a major blind spot in the way many people approach their bodies. Most train muscles, but very few train joints.
Coach Lindsay is excited to offer a Functional Movement & Mobility training course to help you explore Montana while feeling your best!
Whether you're an athlete, an avid hiker, trail runner or fly fisher, adding this class on to your routine is going to help you excel at anything you put your mind to.

Firstly, I want to normalize the afternoon “slump” typically occurring between 2pm and 4pm. We are only animals after all, and most animals enjoy a siesta (nap). I also want to normalize that you are not meant to be an Energizer Bunny for 16 hours per day, every day, forever. It is normal and expected to have lower energy during winter months or rainy days, or to experience more fatigue at different times in your life. Sometimes you do need to rest but there are a few things you can do to help improve your overall energy. Coach Kayla dives into some tips and fun facts in her latest blog post. Go check it out on our website!
Grotto Falls is our first hike of the summer. This is an easy 2.5 mile out-and-back hike along a creek ending at a beautiful waterfall. This hike is dog friendly with some areas for off leash romping so feel free to bring your well mannered, human and pet friendly dogs to join!
Joining a new group can be daunting but don't let the anxiety hold you back from an epic summer! Bring your pup as a buffer if you need but be sure to register at: https://peakfitnessandmotion.gymmasteronline.com/portal/account/book/class/26018?session_id=6d49e535-45d2-43dc-a624-4b2b895743ae or head to our website for more info!

The truth is, every experienced lifter you see in a gym was once a beginner who had no idea what they were doing. The only difference is time and repetition.
You do not need to arrive knowing everything. You just need to start.
A common beginner mistake is trying to do too much too soon. More exercises. More weight. More complexity. More intensity.
That usually leads to burnout or frustration. Instead, start small and build consistency first.
Schedule a consult today, reaching out for information is the first step in your fitness journey. Meeting a coach, scheduling a tour or signing up for your first class (which is free) is a great way to get started. And remember: everyone was new here at one point!
