We love being a trusted part of your special moments, and we are incredibly grateful for the support you’ve always shown our business.
Lately, we have experienced some rapid growth—growing bigger and faster than we ever anticipated. While we are so thankful for the demand, it has also brought significant growing pains.

Recently, we faced a high volume of last-minute cancellations and had to make the difficult decision to let go of certain artists and stylists due to unreliability. While we always provide client contracts, navigating this recent unreliability has admittedly made it incredibly hard to keep up with every administrative detail.

While I try to get back to everyone in a timely manner, I have had to prioritize what I answer and when just to keep our events running. Along with the team, I have never stopped working the weddings as well. I have had to place everyone in the best fit and location so everyone is getting the best outcome.

Rumors circulating that we do not have a team are completely false. We have many talented, dedicated stylists and artists who work exclusively with Frills for weddings. Some of our team members also freelance with other companies, and we openly encourage them to do so—we love supporting other artists and watching them grow in their careers.

To ensure absolutely every single one of our scheduled weddings is fully covered, I also actively communicate and partner with trusted fellow artists in the industry. To make sure our brides have someone there and are completely taken care of, I have been personally paying extra fees, hotel stays, and mileage out of my own pocket—all while ensuring our clients pay the exact same price they originally booked.

Balancing all of this as a mom of four who solely runs every aspect of this business has been an immense challenge, and I am doing everything in my power to keep up. This is a huge reason why we are intentionally changing and scaling down our calendar for next year.

Our business model is changing as we change these details to ensure this year does not repeat itself. Taking on fewer bookings will allow us to slow down, maintain our great communication, and protect the close connection we have with our brides.

That relationship is extremely important and integral to who we are, and scaling back ensures we can continue providing affordable pricing alongside a high-quality experience. This is something our Frills Family excels at.

It has come to our attention that some false and inaccurate statements regarding our business have been shared on Facebook by an individual and a competitor. While it is deeply hurtful to see misinformation spread during a time when we are working around the clock, we want to reassure you that our commitment to you remains unchanged.

We are actively handling this situation through the appropriate professional and legal channels to ensure it is resolved correctly.
