You guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pinch me! It's real! This has been a long long long long time coming. I'm still probably 10 hours from being finished with her but look at it! I built this and it's in MY SHOP WINDOW!!!!!!!! This whole year has been a solid climb of hard work and dedication getting to this point. The Shirodhara, the most comfy salon station and now I finally have my jewlery in the window. Wow.

Believe me when I suggest adding extensions for that white/gray blonde effect. Sometimes your own hair will turn to sawdust before it reaches a true "platinum" level. Just use hair extensions. Nobody will know.

I have fantastic news!!!! Miss fusion moved in and absolutely could NOT deal with the sun roasting her skin off for half the day so she forced me into agreeing to curtains. Oh dang. No more wearing sunglasses while getting your hair done in the afternoon. No more sweating and dealing with sun induced hot flashes. You know I love the light but I had to draw a line when it was so bright I could not even see your hair and had to build a separate "shady " station away from the window. Girls would ask "Why is that a shady station?" Everyone thought that it was suspicious, no girl it is literally in the shade.

The Shirodhara oil drip treatment. She is everything I wanted her to be. The space will evolve and become more elaborate as time goes on but the fundamentals will remain the same. The Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic treatment which involves warm oil flowing down your scalp and hair from the center of your forehead (the third eye) and gathering into a tray beneath your head. Your hair slowly soaks up the oil as a practitioner gently massages your scalp and applies warm towels and additional serums. This treatment means a lot to me and I've worked for a long time creating a space that suits my vision. I wanted the decor to stick closely to the Shirodhara roots which originate in India. The oil is simple and pure. I do not use any alcohol, funky stuff, artificial sneaky ingredients or anything genetically modified. The treatment is done in a semi secluded area of the salon but it is not completely closed off. The treatment is done fully clothed, although it's best to wear a tank top or tube top to keep oil off your shirt. Message me for booking or if you have questions.

We had our first little jewlery making class tonight and it was soooo fun!!!!! If anyone is free tomorrow night at about 5:45 and is willing to let me gather content with some pics and videos I'd be thankful. The goal is to host small friend gatherings or birthday outings with up to 5 girls to make jewlery and learn about the different gems and stones. This way or that way?

My goal for this week is to capture the Shirodhara in action exactly the same time as the sunset. I want the oil to be flowing with the light exactly like this. Depending on the weather and the time of the sunset it might be tricky. Is there anyone available that can get the treatment around this time? You must be flexible with scheduling and willing to lay down with the oil soaking into your hair for the duration of the sunset.

This is a dream. I cannot even put into words how much this treatment means to me. 1 year of planning, building and creating and probably another 2 years before that with the idea rolling around in my head. Welcome the Shirodhara healing oil treatment. When I tell you to use oil to hydrate your hair, this is what I mean- No alcohol, no artificial fragrance, no words you can't pronounce, nothing interfering with your natural state of being. The Shirodhara is all of this and more. I have such a sense of relief to finally be able to offer this to my girls because it is soooo needed. We need connection. We need healing. We need to be slathered in oil.
