Luxury Hair Extensions
When you only have ONE row to work with, your placement and your blend become that much more crucial.
This is exactly why I love utilizing a teardrop placement for my one-row clients.
Instead of installing the row straight across the back of the head, a teardrop allows us to work WITH the natural round of the head. We start higher through the corners, follow the curvature down through the occipital, and then connect back up through the opposite side.
That shape does a few really important things.
First, it creates a beautiful U-shape that helps establish the length through the bottom while still giving us hair to blend throughout multiple planes of the head. When you only have one row, you don’t have additional rows above or below to help you create that transition. Every inch of placement has to work for you.
Second, it’s COMFORTABLE.
Following the round of the head means gravity is working with the installation instead of against it. A single row installed straight across can feel uncomfortable and can become bumpy and lumpy when the client pulls their hair into a ponytail.
The teardrop allows that row to move with the head, lay beautifully, and give us maximum blending potential with minimal hair.
One row doesn’t mean simple placement.
It means your placement matters even more. 🖤

Apparently at some point we’re supposed to cut our hair, shorten our nails, cover our tattoos, tone down our clothes and start “dressing our age.”
Respectfully… no. 😂
