Wig maker and hair loss specialist creating luxury glueless wigs and medical units designed for a flawless, natural look. Specialized in hair lost solutions
Custom, comfortable, and built to last—because you deserve hair that feels like you.
Lately, I’ve noticed more and more clients requesting custom wigs without a lace closure or frontal. They simply want a beautiful, natural-looking wig they can put on and go.
What I love most is that this isn’t a new technique. It’s something I learned over 20 years ago, and being able to take those traditional methods and apply them to today’s needs is one of the things I love most about custom wig making.
That’s the beauty of a truly custom experience. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Every client has different needs, preferences, and lifestyles, and having the knowledge and versatility to create solutions that work specifically for them is what matters most.
Whether you prefer lace, no lace, closures, frontals, or something completely different, your wig should fit your lifestyle, not the other way around.
Like always, I’m Styled By Will, and I create custom wigs for everyday wear and medical hair loss. If you’re ready for a wig designed specifically for you, book a consultation or schedule your Custom Wig Experience, all of my booking information is in my bio. I look forward to seeing you soon.
This wig came to me after being previously constructed elsewhere, and while the goal was there, the foundation wasn’t. The fit was off, the lace closure had experienced unnecessary stress, and ultimately the client wasn’t able to get the longevity she deserved from her investment.
One of the biggest misconceptions in the beauty industry is believing that watching a few videos online is the same as mastering a skill. Social media can teach you what to do, but it rarely teaches you why you’re doing it, when to make adjustments, or how to troubleshoot when things don’t go as planned.
Wig making is more than sewing bundles onto a cap. Understanding measurements, cap construction, lace placement, density, balance, and client customization is what separates a wig that looks good from a wig that fits, lasts, and performs.
If you’re serious about learning how to make wigs professionally, my 1-on-1 hands-on wig making class is designed to teach the behind-the-scenes knowledge that helps you confidently create custom wigs for real clients.
Because learning a skill is one thing. Understanding the craft is what builds a career.
I’m down for any tool that make work life easier all about working smarter and not harder so this was definitely a no brainer.
People often think wigs are just about fashion, convenience, or changing up your look. And while they can absolutely be all of those things, it’s a completely different experience when someone is living with hair loss.
For many women, hair loss impacts more than their appearance. It can affect confidence, self-esteem, and even how they show up in their daily lives. That’s why I don’t just make wigs, I create custom solutions designed specifically for the person wearing them.
Seeing a client look in the mirror and smile again never gets old. Watching someone regain a piece of their confidence after struggling with hair loss is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Every custom wig tells a story. Some are about beauty, but many are about healing, hope, and helping someone feel like themselves again.
I’m Styled By Will, and I create custom wigs for everyday wear and medical hair loss. If you’re looking for a solution that’s designed specifically for you, I’d love to help.
Not every wig cap is one-size-fits-all, and an ill-fitting U-shape wig can make all the difference in how natural and comfortable your install looks.
This client originally had her U-shape made elsewhere, but the cap was way too big for her head size. After a quick Zoom consultation, I walked her through a simple sizing method using a U-shape cap from her local beauty supply store. She pinned the areas that felt too loose, mailed it in, and I handled the rest.
I altered the cap, fully deconstructed the original unit, and reconstructed a custom U-shape that fit her perfectly like a glove. No more guessing. No more bulky fit. Just a seamless, secure, natural-looking result made specifically for her head size.
If you’ve been struggling to figure out your proper wig size, this method makes the process so much easier. You can purchase a cap locally or order one directly from my site, pin where adjustments are needed, and I’ll take care of the hard part from there.
Like always, I’m Style By Will, creating custom wigs for everyday and medical use. If you’re in the Tampa, Brandon, or Riverview area and looking for a custom wig or extension specialist, all booking information is in the bio. I’d love to work with you soon.
Hair loss is more common than people realize, and for many women, it can feel overwhelming, emotional, and even isolating. One of the biggest things I want people to understand is that while wigs, toppers, and extensions can absolutely help restore confidence, it’s still important to understand what’s causing the hair loss in the first place.
If you notice changes in your edges, hairline, density, or excessive shedding, don’t ignore the signs. Early intervention matters more than people realize. Sometimes the issue can be related to stress, medical conditions, hormones, nutrition, tension from styling, or even improper maintenance habits.
Protective styles are not meant to be worn forever, and not every trending style is right for every hair type or density. Having an honest conversation with your stylist about what your hair can realistically handle is so important. Ask questions. How long should the style stay in? How often should you wash your hair? Is this style safe for your current hair condition? Should a professional remove it properly?
Education is key. Just because something is popular online does not mean it’s healthy for your hair long term.
As someone who creates custom wigs, toppers, and extension solutions daily, my goal is never just to cover the issue — it’s to help you feel beautiful while also encouraging healthier hair practices moving forward.
One of the hardest parts about traction alopecia is that it usually happens slowly over time. A lot of women don’t realize the damage is happening until they start noticing thinning around the temples, excessive breakage, or changes in their hairline.
Tight styles, repeated tension, heavy extensions, and chronic pulling on the scalp can all contribute to long-term damage if ignored for too long.
This is why healthy hair should always come before style longevity.
As a stylist, my goal is never just to make the hair look beautiful. I also want to help educate women on safer styling practices, scalp health, and low-tension alternatives that support the overall health of their hair journey.
If you’ve been noticing changes in your edges or hairline, don’t ignore the signs early intervention matters more than most people realize.
This is why consultations matter before investing in luxury hair extensions.
Before anyone asks — yes, I properly brushed and prepped her hair before shampooing. The client also explained that the hair had been matting and tangling like this since the beginning, every single time she washed it, and she’s only had the install for about 2.5–3 months.
Those extra loops you see slipping out in the beginning most likely came from excessive brushing just trying to keep the hair manageable.
And honestly? This is what happens when low-quality extension hair is used in a long-term install.
It doesn’t matter how beautiful the install looks on day one. If the hair quality is poor, you’re eventually going to deal with matting, tangling, shedding, dryness, and frustration. A luxury extension experience is not just about the install — it’s also about investing in quality hair that can actually withstand everyday wear, washing, and maintenance.
This is why I always encourage consultations. Ask questions. Research your stylist. Research the hair being used. Understand the maintenance and the real investment before committing to a luxury service.
Because quality hair extensions should make your life easier — not turn every wash day into a detangling session.
If you’re ready to invest in your luxury extension experience, all booking information is in my bio.
