During today’s consultation, my client asked about relaxing her hair again, and here’s the truth: winter is not the season for constant chemical processing. ❄️
Right now, we’re already using heat to maintain straight styles, so adding a relaxer on top of that is unnecessary stress on the hair.
I always recommend saving chemical services for the summer months, when humidity is higher and temperatures are warmer—when the hair actually needs that extra help to stay smooth. ☀️
We’re also on a journey to restore her edges, and that means being intentional. Chemical processing is a definite no-no when the goal is healthy growth and stronger hairlines. 🌱
Healthy hair doesn’t happen by rushing the process—it happens through education, patience, and the right plan. And I’m here every step of the way to make sure my clients not only look good, but understand how to care for their hair between appointments. ✨
