My salon hours have officially changed! 🤍

I will now be in the salon Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–5 PM, with Thursday evening appointments available upon request.

If you already have a Friday appointment scheduled, don’t worry! Your appointment will still be kept and will continue as normal. 🫶🏼

With how busy my weekends have become with weddings and bridal parties, this was a much-needed change to help create a better balance and allow me to continue giving each of my clients and wedding parties my very best. Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding! I can’t wait to see you in my chair! ✨

‼️CLIENT PSA: Please tell your stylist if you have used Sun-In‼️

I know Sun-In seems harmless because it’s sold as an easy way to get lighter hair ☀️✨ — but it can cause BIG problems when you want professional color later.
Here are some reasons why stylist may refuse a color or lightening service if Sun-In has been used:

☀️ It contains hydrogen peroxide
Sun-In is chemically lightening your hair. It’s not just “sunshine in a bottle.”
💥 It can weaken the hair
Repeated use can leave the hair dry, porous, fragile, and more prone to breakage.
🎨 The results are unpredictable
Sun-In can create uneven, brassy, yellow or orange tones that are difficult to correct.
🧪 Your stylist can't control the previous chemical process
We don't know exactly how much was used, how many times it was applied, or how much heat the hair was exposed to.
⚠️ Adding professional lightener can be too much
Even if your hair looks healthy, the previously lightened areas may not be strong enough for another chemical service.
✂️ Your stylist may have to say NO
And that's not because we're being difficult! ❤️
Sometimes saying no is how we protect your hair from severe breakage or damage.
🗣️ PLEASE BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR HAIR HISTORY!
Even if you used Sun-In months or years ago, tell your stylist. The affected hair is still on your head until it grows out or is cut off.
🚨 And please don't use Sun-In right before a salon appointment!
Your stylist would much rather know about it and create a safe plan than discover it during a chemical service.

If you've used Sun-In before, don't panic! Just tell your stylist. We can assess your hair and figure out the safest option for you. 🤍
