Your permanent brows are meant to fade. And sometimes, that’s exactly when the magic happens. ✨
This beautiful client originally had her brows done by another artist. Over time, the pigment had faded and there were some inconsistencies in the shape, color, and saturation that she wanted addressed.
So when she came to me, the goal wasn’t to simply put more pigment over what was already there.
It was to work with the existing brow, blend those inconsistencies, refresh the color, refine the shape, and create a more balanced, polished result. 🤎
And this is also a great example of why permanent brows need color boosts.
Permanent cosmetics are designed to gradually fade. Your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products, pigment retention, and even your individual skin chemistry can all affect how your brows age. A color boost allows us to refresh pigment that has softened, redefine areas that have faded unevenly, and keep your brows looking intentional rather than waiting until they’ve almost completely disappeared.
And yes—you CAN come to me even if another artist originally did your brows.
However, previously tattooed brows require a little more planning. I need to see what pigment, shape and saturation we’re working with before I can determine what can safely and realistically be done.
That’s why a consultation is required for all existing permanent makeup done by another artist.
If your old brows are faded, uneven, have changed color, or you’re simply ready for a refresh, you don’t necessarily have to start over.
