I didn’t expect teaching to change me the way it did.
You go into it thinking you’re there to give... knowledge, structure, guidance.
But what you don’t realize is how much it requires from you in return.
Clarity.
Patience.
Accountability.
My students have asked questions that made me better.
They’ve challenged my process, sharpened my communication, and pushed me to raise my own standards.
Teaching didn’t just make me an educator.
It made me more intentional in everything I do behind the chair.
Growth doesn’t only happen when you’re learning.
It happens when you’re responsible for someone else’s understanding, too. 🤍
