The J & M Adventure Continues… 9/27/25, Joe took me to Yosemite and asked me to marry him… WE ARE ENGAGED!!!

What started as a day that was warm and sunny turned into thunder storms with heavy rain that was completely unexpected. After the storm we were given a beautiful site with a double rainbow and an amazing looking sky which was the perfect backdrop for a proposal.

It was a beautifully blessed day for us both!!

After all these years of working in the wedding industry and waiting for my turn… I’m officially a BRIDE!!! 👰🏼‍♀️

Bonus: We had a sweet lady walk up to us and let us know she filmed a little bit of our proposal so she shared the video with us. It was at the moment after Joe got up from his knee and put the ring on my finger. 💕

I had the privilege of doing hair and makeup for this beauty for a special family photoshoot she was having. She sparkles! ✨

My adopted Babunya/Grandma Marnie… I miss her! I always did her hair and makeup for her when she wanted to go to an event where she lived or for a Dr appointment. She liked to look her best! When her regular stylist who washed and cut her hair was not available for a while I was able to give her the special treatment with a wash, head massage, and styling. We all know what it’s like to go to the salon and it’s a feeling of pampering and also refreshing. It was a wonderful feeling to see her smile and feel like herself again.

You are missed Babunya Marnie and I will always remember that day we had the salon all to ourselves! ❤️
