Fun fact about your esthetician…

Ever since I was a baby esthetician, I’ve done this. 😂

After extractions, I put all those little blackheads on a white 4x4 so I can admire my handiwork when I’m finished.

Is it a little gross? Maybe.
Is it ridiculously satisfying? ABSOLUTELY. 😂

13 years later and apparently some things never change.

There’s just something about seeing everything that was clogging those pores sitting on the gauze instead of in your face. 🙌🏼

Estheticians… please tell me I’m not the only one who does this. 😂

And clients—are you looking at this thinking “Ewww 🤢” or “Soooo satisfying 😍”?

Listen ladies… there is NO shame over here. 😂 We grow facial hair. We get those random chin hairs that seem to appear overnight. It happens!

Thankfully, I own a wax pot. 💁🏻‍♀️😂

13 years ago I was sitting in the classroom. Yesterday, I was standing in front of it. ❤️

I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at our local cosmetology school, teaching future estheticians about the BT Micro Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber.

I’ve spent 13 years learning, growing and perfecting my craft—and getting to share a little of that knowledge with the next generation?

Yeah…that was pretty freaking cool. ✨

This season of my life has been a difficult one, to say the least.

And I’ve learned that on the hard days, I have to be intentional about how I start my morning.

Before the appointments.
Before the responsibilities.
Before the noise of everything that needs my attention.

I need time with God. ❤️

Some mornings I come to Him thankful. Some mornings confused. Some mornings tired. And some mornings all I can manage is, “Lord, just help me through today.”

But I keep showing up.

Because I may not know what this season is preparing me for, but I know Who is walking through it with me.

So this is how I’m choosing to start my days lately—God’s Word, a little quiet, and the reminder that I don’t have to have everything figured out. 🙏🏼
