One year ago, I graduated from Charles and Sue’s School of Hair Design. This past year has a road of continuous learning and meeting new faces. Here is to the late nights and early mornings. To the days of being slammed and the days I sit and wait for a walk in. I have had some scary times happen but from those I have grown. I have had things thrown at me and with that creates success. All of this couldn’t have been done without the help of the girls at Uptown Rootz.

To Ashley—thank you. You’re not just my boss, you’re my friend (and yes, my twin… I’ll admit it). Even when you’re halfway across the world, you still show up for me. You’ve guided me through new techniques, color lines, and growing my clientele. You’ve created a space that feels like home—filled with friendship, support, and memories I’ll always cherish. You lift me up when I’m hard on myself, and that means the world.

To my clients, I love y’all. I wouldn’t be where I am at today without yall. I thank each and every one of yall for trusting me. Here is to another year of hitting personal goals and making every client feel confident, beautiful, and unstoppable – one cut, color, and conversation at a time. 🩷✂️
