After so many of my friends and colleagues have pivoted to new companies, I'm watching and hoping for everyone's success! I'm seeing some really misinformed messaging, however, and I hope consumers are paying attention. 🫣

A 170-calorie meal replacement shake is not enough "lunch" for anyone. Taking appetite suppressants, running on caffeine--natural or otherwise, and "forgetting" to eat all day is definitely not the message to take to heart.

The human body needs at least 40 micronutrients to function optimally. Vitamins, minerals, other nutrients all contribute to almost every process that happens in the body! You can't skimp on what your body NEEDS to function.

I'm still learning, but I have recently been adding super fruits to my daily regimen. They don't taste the best, but after just a few days, I can already tell a difference in my digestion and body composition.

EVERYONE IS A BRAND

In today's gig economy, everyone has the opportunity to turn their strengths into a personal brand. Think of it like your reputation, but leveraged in a way that you get paid for your talents. Authors, athletes, affiliate marketers, content creators, Etsy sellers, speakers-- if you're in a position to have a good or service to offer, you should think about your brand from day one. I sure did when I first stuck my nose in direct sales.

Here's an example:
Bryce's amazing girlfriend is a young, ambitious female quickly rising in the national ranks of turf management. Think professional sports fields and golf courses. She does Tik Tok videos, speaks at national conferences, has won numerous awards, and recently garnered national media attention. None of that is in her job description. She did it because of who she is, and what she has to offer. I'll post her Forbes article in the comments. We're so proud!!

From what I understand, whether ownership or management, her superiors have recently been trying to diminish her shine. I texted her last night to remind her of this verse, and how HER light helps EVERYONE, INCLUDING her boss. The farther her reputation spreads, the more likely she is to attract the best interns in the industry, secure contracts with the best vendors, not to mention putting butts in seats at the stadium with her mad skills in turf designs. Why would anyone in their right (unjealous--pretend that's a word for me) mind want to limit someone else's reach?

While we all have a reputation, many of us don't have a good or service to leverage. That's where direct selling becomes a fabulous vehicle to consider for earning another stream of income on top of whatever else you have going on in your life. Product development, websites, back office reports--all of that is done by the company. One just plugs in as an independent contractor and represents the products in the nooks and crannies of daily life. For instance, I enrolled from my car Wednesday while Kevin was driving us home from meetings in Georgia.

I've always coached my team to bring the best of who they are to the table when representing products. Create the best environment for people who are considering purchasing what you have, and always think about how you want to be remembered. I don't spend much time thinking about the stigma a lot of people have for our way of selling because it never is an issue with me or my people. We love hard, support strong, represent well, and change a whole lotta lives in the process.

🌪What a whirlwind these past couple of weeks have been, helping launch their brand-new line of hair products!!🧴

R+F started at the root when formulating this hair care, created with damage repairing, nourishing ingredients and color protection. Even my Redken trainer hair stylist approves!🥰

When I saw him recently, he said, “I wish I had told you to bring your new stuff, so I could experience it on your hair.” I told him, of course I had samples, and he insisted on breaking one open for my post-color shampoo. His comments were far above my hair IQ, but he loved everything he could discern from that one use and reading the card. 🤓
