Breaking out after laser treatment? 😳 Don’t panic.

One of the most common concerns after laser treatments is the appearance of new breakouts. While frustrating, this can actually be a normal part of the process.

Laser treatments help stimulate skin turnover and bring congestion, oil, and debris that were brewing beneath the surface up and out. Think of it as your skin clearing house—sometimes things have to come to the surface before they can leave.

This temporary purging phase is often followed by healthier, clearer, smoother-looking skin as the skin continues to heal and renew itself.

A few tips:

This beautiful mom is shown here just 6 months after her Mommy Restoration™, which included a tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast reduction.

One of the most significant findings during surgery was a 7 cm muscle separation (diastasis recti). When the abdominal muscles separate this widely, patients often notice more than just a change in appearance. Core weakness, difficulty engaging the abdomen, back discomfort, and changes in posture can all occur.

What stands out most to me in her before and after photos isn’t just the flatter abdomen or smaller, lifted breasts—it’s her posture. She is standing taller, and stronger.

Pregnancy can change the body in ways that diet and exercise simply cannot correct. Restoring the abdominal wall and addressing excess breast tissue can be truly life-changing.
