Meg was ready to lighten everything up & cool everything down. We focused on the details! Lots of dainty foils to soften the grow-out and eventually allow her natural color to act as her lowlights! I combined babylights with teasy lights, pulled through wherever needed brightening, and left some root and lowlights in there to keep subtle dimension!

Lately I’ve found myself looking back on the last year and realizing just how much there is to be grateful for.

Not because everything has been perfect, or because life has looked exactly the way I imagined it would. But because somewhere along the way, I started noticing just how beautiful my ordinary life really is.

The people I get to love. The people who love me. My marriage, my family, my little home, my work, the friendships that have grown deeper, the memories we’ve made, the hard things that have stretched me, and even the quiet, everyday moments I probably used to take for granted.

This past year has taught me that I don’t need a bigger, better, more exciting life to be happy. I just want to be present enough to recognize the one I already have.

And more than anything, I’m grateful to God. For the blessings I can see, the ones I can’t, the doors He’s opened, the ones He’s closed, and for the reminder that none of this is by accident or simply luck.

I’m just really, really grateful to be here.
Grateful for this life.
Grateful for the people in it.
And grateful for the God who gave it to me. 🤍
