An announcement to all my Christina’s Hair Studio clients:

As most of you already know, I have had to make some big decisions regarding Christna's Hair Studio this past year because of personal health reasons. Due to the continuous stress on my hands (casualty of the job 🤷‍♀️) I've had to cut back my days at the shop, forcing me to pick up a second job which causes less stress on my injuries.

As you can imagine, working a new office job, and working a couple days behind the chair - all while still running a business full time - has become challenging. Since opening the doors in 2008 and still to this day, I've only wanted the shop to be the best it can be. In my 15 years experience as a small business owner, I know that the time an owner spends being in the shop can make or break you, and I've realized that I can’t be as present as the shop needs me to be, so I've had to make some tough decisions.

In order to allow the shop to continue to serve our clients in the best way possible, I am happy to say I am passing the salon on to a new owner. Have no fear! The new owner is well known around the shop, and is loved and trusted by not only clients, but also by me and my family.

As challenging as it is to plan a transition and even write this post today, I am confident it is the best decision for myself, the shop, and all of our amazing and loyal clients.

I hope you all know how much the love and support you have given me through all these years has means to me. I couldn’t imagine life without my clients. You've each become family to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With that said, and as proof of how much confidence I have that this new owner will continue to bring great experiences to our clients, and the shop success, I am happy to announce that I will be the first part-time employee of the new shop (new shop name to be announced by the new owner 😉)! Keeping 2 days a week behind the chair at 425 Main St., makes this post much less sad, because I still
get to see all your beautiful faces!

I hope you'll join me in being excited for the future of the shop, and will continue to support us as you have all these years. 🌙 🌚
