Well y’all… it’s starting to feel a little like fall around here! 🍂🍁

I’m not quite ready to let go of summer (can’t we just keep it a little longer?!), but there’s no denying that fall is on its way!

So instead of moping about the end of summer, I’m leaning into those cozy fall vibes! 🍁☕🌲

On the workbench today: Backwoods Hike, Red Maple Leaf, and Juniper Berry & Cedar — a few of my favorite scents for crisp mornings, changing leaves, and all things autumn!

It’s Fair Season, which means it's my favorite time of the year!

🎡Inspired by everyone's obsession with the new fair drink vendors this year, I decided to bring a piece of fair week home.

Meet these new Fair Drink Inspired Bath Bombs! 🥤🛁I packed them with colorful layers, added tiny straws, and topped them off with a few fun fair-themed surprises.

Regular bath bombs just can't compete! 😂

Winnie: my local, self-employed, four-legged landscaping expert who specializes in aggressive willow tree reduction. Her pruning technique is simple: if it is green, it goes straight into her stomach. She operates on a highly unique barter system, trading premium, farm-fresh milk in exchange for her services.

Well, I was crying over spilled milk tonight! Ugh, what a mess to clean up, but I'm praying I got it all! If only the freezer bag had done its job, but hey, life has its moments, right?

AND JUST LIKE THAT...ANOTHER FAIR IS IN THE BOOKS. 🎡💚

Last night marked the end of the 78th Annual Addison County Fair & Field Days, and while it was a scorching week, we enjoyed another year surrounded by friends—the two-legged and four-legged kind. 🐐❤️

While we're all ready for the fair to be over by the end of the week, there's always a little sadness when it actually comes to an end.

We'll miss hanging out with dear friends and family, catching up and chatting, eating good food, watching all of the local youth put in the hard work that generations before them have done, and seeing them share their passion for agriculture.

I love seeing the next generation learning, working, and carrying on these traditions. Hopefully, along the way, they're inspiring others to participate, support their local farms, and appreciate where our food and agriculture come from. 🌱🐄🐐🐖🐓

As we move back into our normal daily routines, we'll hang onto the memories of another year at the fair and look forward to the next one.

And speaking of memories...

I was especially excited to find out that this photo of Connie and Cora brought home a red ribbon! 🏅🐐❤️

It has always been one of my favorite photos of these two, so seeing it hanging at the fair with that little red ribbon beside it made my heart pretty happy. ❤️
