My lovely neighbor has offered her wonderful backyard as the setting for a sound bath experience.
Check out the flier and message for reservation.
I so love how this man shares his knowledge. I was just speaking to my clients about slower breathing (per minute) is better, creating carbon dioxide for better health, moving breath for massaging internal organs.
Cherry Oak Massage creates the space for your engagement with your body, self awareness, enhancing the benefits of each session.

Cherry Oak Massage has responded recently to community threads searching for a safe, thoughtful, skilled place to go for their body work sessions. A place where their voice will be heard, a session for regional areas.
Let’s talk about sessions dedicated to regional areas. Just looking for feet, hands, head are an easy choice for service. Many times with full body sessions not enough time is spent working the bones and joint spaces. You end up wishing for more time for those achy fingers and sore soles of feet. Maybe some extra time for your aching TMJ (jaw) or back of head.
The specialty of reflexology is ancient and attributed to working these extremities to touch the rest of the body. Each part of the foot or hand will be massaged during those sessions. I utilize a modality called SMRT (Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique) which helps to reduce the tension held in the joint spaces and bring longer lasting circulation and alignment .
I use sound and frequency tools in my sessions. Weighted tuning forks help to stimulate the cells function to perform with greater energy and within the lymphatics to remove cellular waste more efficiently.
If you want to add on an epsom foot bubbler soak and then a scented warming lotion to your session to elevate your relaxation, you can.
As a solo practitioner, I work around schedules to help find a time that works for both of us.
When you are looking for a professional who specializes in massage and body work, consider Cherry Oak Massage.

This is Cherry Oak Massage 2nd case of treating PHN Post Herpetic Neuralgia using the weighted tuning fork.
History: Shingles outbreak 5 years ago (post death of beloved pet), from scalp to eyelid (left). Post outbreak non stop pain, itching, burning, pain on touch. Repeated scratching brings ulcerations. Tx Hx: gabapentin, creams. Currently only using cream with lidocaine at bedtime.
Tx plan: one therapeutic application of weighted tuning fork per week for 5 weeks.
Goal: reduce size area of PHN, reduce pain, reduce frequency of irritant nerve impulse by 50%.
Will keep updates posted.
Hello all! I competed in this Ohio competition. I medaled in the Clinical category. The table with the tensor rings is mine. You’ll see me with weighted tuning forks on my client’s neck in the video.
Clinical category is half the time of a regular round. In 30 minutes we meet our client, determine their problem (for competition it’s a small region), get their history, problem history, create an assessment, treatment plan, treat, reassess to see if work helped. Hands off at 30 minute mark.
Then the client gets interviewed and we are interviewed. We must be able to articulate our thinking and ex*****on.
So for those who do not like a competition for massage this is the style to enter where showing competence is valid.

When you compete in massage you are showcasing skills you do in private practice. In the clinical category you must meet, assess, treatment plan, treat, post assess, articulate plan of random client in 30 minutes with 2-3 minute articulation with judges. Client also is questioned by judges.
Showing well in the clinical category is why I enjoy competing.
This is my second medal for this category, so far.
2026 OMC Clinical winners:
1st place: Zach Tamplin (Springfield, OH)
2nd place: Jaremi Horn (Waverly, OH)
3rd place: Kelly Detter (Brighton, MI)

Jaremie Horn competed sadly with a swollen sore right thumb. At lunch we gave some weighted tuning fork attention and SMRT work on wrist, elbow and hand- 5 minutes later he’s a happy boy!
Thanks for support me Waverly Massage and Wellness located in Waverly Ohio!

I work with frequency to give an optimal experience at each appointment. All one must do is make yourself available to receive. Perceive and receive. Think it and feel it. Experience the short cut through the mental chatter to inner calm.
A solid session of 30 minutes will usually leave you feeling relaxed and experiencing a better sense of well being. Occasionally deep seated emotions will surface for your gracious love and acceptance.
Lately more people have been allowing themselves to experience weighted tuning fork therapy sessions. This takes only a fraction of time during the overall session.
Improvements noted with the lymph system moving out damaged bruised tissue 50% faster.
Experimenting with autoimmune concerns shows some discomfort. The concerns for negative flairs didn’t materialize. When done in the presence of trauma, the flair was shortened in duration. Some nerve concerns show improvement.
I am continually amazed at the wonder of healing the body is capable of, coupled with frequency and belief.
