This is one of the hardest posts I have ever had to make. I have decided it’s time for me to retire and close the salon. With the financial strain of Covid, rising costs of products, gas prices soaring and my sons long hauler Covid issues I feel it’s time to say my goodbyes!

It has been my absolute pleasure to know each and every one of you. To share in your good days and your sad days…to be part of all your milestones—it’s been amazing and something I will treasure in my heart always!

My last day in the salon will be April 4th. If you would like to book a final appointment please DM me or text me and we can set it up!

Hello! This is incredibly hard to write. I have made the decision to temporarily close for the next few weeks. My family was hit with Covid and my son is having some complications recovering and I’m not recovering as fast as I’d like as well. I hate having to repeatedly cancel appointments, so at this time I am closing my books and taking a few weeks to let my family fully recover. I hope you all understand and I will post here when I am taking appointment again!

Heads up folks!!! When booking for a haircut, I have eliminated gender based haircuts. I am now booking medium/long haircuts and short haircuts. Additionally, if you prefer pronouns other than he/she or him/her please put it in the notes section of the booking app!

Hey everyone!

Just a reminder. If you are ill in ANY way, anyone in your family is ill or you’ve been exposed to Covid—I ask that you cancel your appointment. With cases on the rise at an incredible rate, we MUST do our best to stop the spread.

If schools go completely virtual at any point, I will voluntarily close my salon.

These decisions are gut-wrenching for me. I will be completely honest and say that I’m scared to death to catch Covid. I’m doing my very best to stay healthy and keep my family healthy!

Masks are required in the salon.

No drinks allowed.

No companions (unless bringing in a child).

I ask that you wash your hands (as will I) before we begin.

Temperatures will be taken.

I hope everyone stays safe, and healthy!

As cases are climbing and to protect my family and yours, I am going to go back to just Saturdays. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I do feel that we may be shut down again soon.

Please remember:

You MUST a wear a mask to your appointment.
You MUST come alone unless accompanying your child.
If you are in any way feeling unwell, please cancel. If you are visibly ill to me—I will cancel your appointment.
If you have been exposed to Covid or anyone in your family is ill—please cancel your appointment.

If you are a color client and Saturdays won’t work, I’m happy to refer you to excellent stylists in the area and provide your color formula.

My heart is breaking. I love my job, my clients—but ultimately—I need to keep my family as safe as possible.

Good news! I’ve opened my books to add Fridays again!!!!

It is with the heaviest heart that I must write this.

My family has made the decision to keep Gabe home this school year and do virtual learning online.

This means I transition from hairstylist to teacher.

August 22nd will be my last day in the salon for two weeks as I learn to adjust to my new role.

I plan on continuing to work, but only Saturdays initially (I am going to extend my Saturday hours). I am hoping to add Wednesday’s back in (3-8 PM), but I don’t know when that will be.

I know that you may not be able to stay with me, with such limited hours. I completely understand. If you need recommendations for someone new, please PM me and I will share some names of my amazing stylist friends).

I hope you all understand. I’m typing this through massive tears, but my son comes first—and this is what I must do for him.

I hope this is temporary. I am not ready to be done, forever.

We’ve been cleared open June 15th!!

My first day back will be June 17th!

I will only be working two days a week throughout the summer! Wednesday’s 10-7 and Saturday 10-4.

New salon protocol:

Masks MUST be worn for the entirety of your appointment. I know this is going to be hard. I will also be wearing a mask for the entire appointment. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Please sanitize your hands with the sanitizer provided at the door.

Please leave purses and personal items in your car.

No food or drink.

For now, no blowout services will be offered.

No children under 10, please. Unless we have spoke directly about this!

Only the person who is receiving services allowed, unless they are a child—and please, only 1 adult with the child.

Please wait in your car until I call or text you to come in.

Please be prepared to pay via Venmo, SquareCash or exact cash or check. I will NOT be swiping cards!

I will take your temperature with a no-touch thermometer. I will also be monitoring my temperature as well.

If you are ILL in any way, please reschedule your appointment. I will also reschedule all clients if feeling under the weather!
