Day Trip to New York 💋😎
10/20/2020 at 9:46 am my life changed completely 🥹 I was at moma Sharon’s house just finishing up my hair on my way to the airport to head back home to Denver when my brother Shyaam called me with the news. I lost it my heart broke into a million pieces in that very moment 🥹 All I kept saying was I didn’t get to say goodbye 🥹 My dad left this earth the exact way he wanted to and my only regret was and still is I didn’t get to say goodbye.
What’s crazy is I knew the time was getting close after seeing him for Father’s Day, he was doing things that my granny was doing when she was getting close to her transition 🥹 I knew we to see him soon I just didn’t know it should have been his birthday 🎂 instead of thanksgiving 🥹 We all had planned on doing Thanksgiving in Virginia just to make sure he saw all of his children and grandchildren together.
I never thought my father wouldn’t be here to help me navigate through my 40’s🥹 I never thought I would have to make some life decisions without his input🥹 I never thought I would have to look at pictures and hold on to the memories to feel some happiness 🥹
Living in a world without your father when he was everything to you is so hard🥹
Remember time is not promised to anyone and love in your people cause you never know 🥹
