This is great news! We were very excited to support Andree's efforts, and were so impressed when he got Julia Mejia to sponsor the bill! She pushed it all the way through, and the final vote approved it, and it should be in effect at the end of April!

Boston Home Cooks Will Soon Be Able To Sell Food From Their Own Kitchens State law already allows home cooks to sell shelf-stable foods, but leaves it up to cities and towns to implement their own regulations. Until now, Boston had no formal process to obtain residential kitchen permits.

life took me to ashmont, where i discovered Ripple Cafe, and got to meet the amazing owner. 😊 deliciousness, cozy welcoming atmosphere, and the nicest people ever working there. now, i just need to come up with an excuse to go back... 🤔😊
