How it all began...

We are two authentic, talented, outgoing stylists who thought of an idea, an idea to be ourselves, be creative, be AUTHENTIC.. to master high end color, precision cuts, luxurious extensions... to be able to deliver our guests the most elite and lovely experience when they sit in our chairs.

In March of 2017, together we created Bella Hair Lounge. Bella Hair Lounge is a studio where everyone is welcomed, everyone is entertained and everyone leaves with stunning hair.

Co-Owner Erin Mentier has been doing hair for over 14 years and when asked what her favorite thing to do, customized cutting is what will come out of her mouth. Her results speak for themselves. Vidal Sassoon trained, TIGI trained, and multiple other courses over her career have made her one of the most talented cutting experts in Michigan. She will laugh at just about anything, she’s a daily visitor of the gym and loves to lift, loves going on the boat in the summer, her kitty Milo and long time boyfriend Danny. Co-Owner Tyler Reid has almost 5 years in the industry, he spent 6 months at Douglas J Aveda, and later spent 2 years training as an apprentice which led him to the love of color. Blondes in which you will hear him refer to as his “California blondes” are his speciality. Rooty blondes, baby lights, balayage blondes, all are just part of his day to day. However color in general has became his career. Quickly becoming a Instagram success, getting to know him is easy. He talks very loud, has a very hard time watching his language, and will share his life with you in the utmost authentic way. You don’t just get glamorous color, you also will be highly entertained.
