✨ HOW DOES PLASMA PEN ACTUALLY WORK?

Plasma is often called the fourth state of matter—after solid, liquid and gas.

During a Plasma Pen treatment, the device creates a tiny plasma arc between the tip of the pen and the surface of the skin. The tip itself does not need to touch the skin. Instead, the energy ionizes the air in that tiny space, creating the plasma arc that delivers a very precise, controlled thermal effect to each treatment point.

That plasma arc causes immediate sublimation of superficial tissue, creating the tiny carbon crusts you see after treatment. The localized effect also causes immediate contraction and tightening of the treated tissue.

But the treatment doesn’t only work at the surface.

Those controlled treatment points initiate the skin’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating fibroblast activity and collagen and elastin production and remodeling over the weeks that follow.
