2026 will be the final year of Power Pony Studios *please read the whole caption*

After 6 years of building this business (and 10 years working professionally in hair + makeup), I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter and step into a new one. I’m incredibly excited to be starting a full-time marketing role this week, and I’m so proud of where this journey has led me.

Being invited into your most meaningful moments has been an absolute honor. To every person who sat in my chair — thank you for trusting me, for letting me be part of your day, and for allowing this space to be one where you felt confident, empowered, and truly welcome 🤍

This business has taken me farther than I ever imagined — across East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, all the way to Florida and Washington State. It has allowed me to give back to my community through Tri-Pride and the Washington County Animal Shelter. And it has shown me the beauty of different cultures, traditions, and ALL types of love. I will always be grateful for those experiences and connections.

For anyone with weddings or events already booked this year: no worries at all — I am fully committed to your day and will honor all existing contracts. I just won’t be taking on any new clients going forward.

To the wedding and creative professionals I’ve had the joy of working alongside over the years: if our paths crossed, please know I see you and deeply appreciate your talent, hustle, and heart.

And lastly — this business is f$cking hard. Please be kind to those in the service industry. We’re human. We have families, bad days, and full lives outside our work — and we’re all doing our best.

Wedding day vs. Trial💛

I have an ANNOUNCEMENT📚

This semester I am going back to school to earn my Masters Degree. If you didn’t know, I’m not a cosmetologist and Power Pony Studios (while important to me and has given me a lot of financial freedom) is not my main career.

Since graduating with my bachelor’s in 2017, I have built a portfolio of experience in marketing, brand and social media management, etc. and I now have the opportunity to expand on that through Brand and Media Strategy M.A. program👏👏👏

⁉️What this means for Power Pony Studios:
- I will no longer be taking weekday weddings (except during summer break May-August)
- I’m cutting back. I say this every year but I mean it this time lol. I’ll be going to school full time as well as working part time as a graduate assistant-this is my priority.
- I’m booking for 2026 and 2027. After that, TBD.
- travel will be more limited. Tri-Cities and surrounding areas are good to go. Others will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
- as always weddings are first come first serve based on completing the required deposit and contract.

💕What you can expect as a client:
- the same attention to detail and dedication to each and every client.
- stricter office hours and communication guidelines for optimal organization. (Email is still the preferred communication method)
- less availablilty for trials. (Trials will likely be on Friday’s and Sundays. going forward)
- if you have already booked a weekday wedding with me YOU’RE GOOD! I will 100% be there as planned.

Makeup is also something to drool over- we went heavy on the blush, pinks and sparkle (while keeping the eyes soft) and it really sealed the old Hollywood vibe.

The lip is KKW Beauty it doesn’t exist anymore and it makes me so sad. 👄
