This was a fun one🤟🏻

She came in with significant warmth and banding from previous color fade out and the summer, while her natural grey pattern was growing in completely differently.

Instead of covering her natural back up, I did a full foliage with customized babylights + lowlights to rebuild her dimension and blur that root line.

&& then came what I lovingly call spot treating 😂 selectively going after those stubborn warm bands instead of unnecessarily lightening every single strand.

We were able to remove and neutralize enough of that previous warmth that I didn’t need to root shadow her, keeping this grow out as low maintenance as possible

This is why color corrections aren’t one-formula-fits-all. Sometimes you’re not just “correcting” the color, you’re completely rebuilding the pattern
