If y'all are booking an appointment for a service, especially with small businesses, respect their time. If you're going to be late, let them know BEFORE you're late, and perhaps something can be worked out or rescheduled. If not, don't cry when that deposit is gone. That's precisely what the deposit is for, to prevent people's time from being wasted.
