vity or request scents that are not found organically/in nature. I only use Phthalate-free fragrances. I make mostly vegan products in small batches; I say mostly because sometimes I include honey or beeswax. I try to use all natural ingredients, often using herb, root and spice infusions and clays. However I occasionally use mica powder for some colorants which are finely ground minerals—some with cosmetic-grade colorants and pigments (Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act-approved as safe). And while there are widespread claims of certain oils, butters, essential oils, coffee, beer, coconut milk, tea and other items having health benefits on the skin, I am not a physician and make no “health” claims as to the use of these. I can only guide you to reputable resources or tell you what I’ve discovered. ~Julie

Simplí + Clean
SOAP, made two different ways: in the time-honored cold process method—which means the soap batter is not heated via an external source, resulting in a smooth, creamy texture—and occasionally via hot process, which means the batter is cooked and any additives, such as additional butters or honey or yogurts, are incorporated after the cook; hot process results in a more rustic and textured appearance. All of these artisan soaps have no added detergents and the glycerine is kept intact. The bars are cured for at least 4-6 weeks, which ensures moisture has naturally evaporated and you are left with firm, long-lasting bars. To extend artisan soap's life span, I recommend a ventilated soap dish/deck so bars can dry between use. Simplí + Soft
MOISTURIZING ITEMS: Body butters, salves, lotion bars, scrubs and lip balms. These have concentrated amounts of beneficial oils and butters, which absorb nicely into skin and lips. Simplí + Smooth
SHAVING SOAPS & BEARD CARE: For shaving soaps I use a variety of moisturizing oils and butters and each puck is 3" in diameter (perfect to fit into most shaving mugs). The soap ends up having a really rich, creamy, long-lasting lather and customers have said they get a close, smooth shave. Beard balms and beard oils have luxurious and natural oils and butters that are perfect for keeping facial hair follicles smooth and conditioned and the skin beneath stays moisturized.
