Some of the most meaningful moments as an Esthetician have nothing to do with skincare.

Most days, my clients and I spend our time giggling, and catching up on life.
And other days, I get to sit with them through the hard moments —the loss, the trauma, the disappointment, and the grief.
Sometimes that looks like listening and giving advice. Sometimes it looks like a silent treatment room, a hug, a prayer, or wiping a tear from their eye without ever saying a word.
I never take those vulnerable moments lightly. I am honored by the trust my clients place in me.
I truly believe the Lord gave me this career for more than just means of income. I get to be with people in their best and worst moments and I get to show them the love of Jesus. Sometimes in conversations we have, sometimes in my actions, and sometimes by just simply being there. There are times when I wonder whether I’m doing enough or if I’m actually making an impact, He always seems to find a way to remind me that showing up for someone matters and how you make them feel matters and makes a difference. It’s a small way of showing his love and that’s what is most important.

I’m so grateful He chose me for this—to care for more than skin, and to hold space for every person I come across.

I’ve been sugaring long enough to know what a shaved bush looks like when I see one. 😂
