Here are just a FEW things you can do to make sure you stay on top of your hair routine!

✨ 1. Weekly oil treatments:
Yall... you know I've been a hard supporter of oil treatments since 2016!! But do you know why it's so important?! The RIGHT oil will nourish your scalp & promote hair growth from the inside! The health of your scalp is equal to the health of soil for a flowerbed.. want beautiful flowers, you make sure you have good soil... want beautiful hair? Focus on scalp health.

✨ 2. Weekly Masque or conditioning treatments:
Especially if you use heat or have colored hair.. this step is important because your hair has a higher tendency of getting too dry and having damage. Depending on the masque you choose, you'll either be depositing normally moisture or hydration back into the hair strengthening the protein bonds of your hair.. making it stronger & giving it shine!

✨3. Heat protectant:
This one SEEMS like a no brainer but I can't tell you how many people I know who don't use one 😩😭 Using a heat protectant creates a barrier over the hair so when you're drying or styling it's essentially taking off the heat protectant.. not your hair. Also why it's important when RESTYLING your hair to reapply a heat protectant. 🤗 A heat protectant 450+ is normally what I go for.

✨ 4. Silk bonnet:
Like I said.. they ain't cute. BUT we do what we gotta do to get the results we want? Right? If you toss and turn a bunch of cotton pillow cases all night it can be rough on your hair! Switch to silk pillow cases or pop on a silk bonnet, it protects your hair at night and keeps whatever style you go to sleep with!
