I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy being able to do random projects with my Cricut. I was gifted this for Christmas a few years back and I haven’t been able to use it a ton, but here I am whipping out a fun project for Farren. I can’t wait to see her face when I pick her up from school and she sees it filled up in her cup holder ❤️

I mean we are all counting down the days.. am I right?

This warmer weather is tricking us, hopefully it’s here to stay. ❤️

You know in theory I’m still on maternity leave.. but the whole stay at home mom idea is starting to hit. If you would have asked me when I first thought about wanting kids if I would ever stay home.. the answer was no. But life changes, right?

Right now by days fly by with a new born.. and in my head I’m just on maternity leave. Pretty soon I’ll fill the role of my new title and it will feel more real.

Any stay at home moms out there have advice for me? What to do, what not to do? ❤️

Today marks 10 years of owning my salon suite ❤️

This year feels bittersweet as I approach the end of this chapter. It’s truly been a rollercoaster of emotions. Through all the changes over the years, I’ve grown so much—and I’m grateful that growth has prepared me to take a step back and focus more on supporting our growing family.

To say I’m thankful for the relationships I’ve built with all of you is an understatement. There really aren’t words to express how much you’ve impacted my life. I only hope I’ve been able to be a blessing to you as well, in whatever season or moment our paths have crossed.
I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity to stay home and bring a little more peace to our day-to-day, rather than trying to do it all. The past couple of years have been tiring, and it feels right to pause, reflect, and pour more of my heart into my suite rentals, wedding business, and home life for now.

Being a small business owner has taught me so much, and I hope that someday I can use that experience to help others on their journeys, too.

This isn’t goodbye…it’s just “see you later.” ❤️

So I have been on the hunt for a good roller set to use on myself and brides on their wedding day. I have found one that I liked from target but the Velcro is too deep for my fine hair girlies, I kept finding myself removing them a little harsh. Soooooo I kept seeing promote his roller set… and it does not disappoint. I love the hybrid of metal and Velcro. Metal for the heat set and the Velcro for some hold.

Any questions on the video leave a comment below or send me a message and I help answer any questions. This overall blow dry and set took me 25 min. And then I only waited 10 min for it to cool. Ideally you would like longer than that to allow them to actually set… but you know.. I had to rush out the door for my morning at the salon ❤️

I don’t take a lot of videos in the salon, but when I do I’ll always be sneaky about it or just plain awkward 🤣
