Sorry for being away for so long!
I know this is long overdue. I had shared on my personal page what has taken place, but didn’t realize I hadn’t shared anything on this page, so here I am.
So much in my life has happened in the last 5 months, sometimes it’s hard to wrap my head around it!

In late December, I was told by my doctor I would need surgery to repair my torn bicep. The recovery time would be a minimum of 4-6 months, longer for me with my given profession. I did a lot of thinking and have decided to pivot in a new direction. I really wanted to make sure that I carve a path that is true to me, good for my health, and works for my family life.
I closed my salon 💇‍♀️
I sold my house 🏡
I moved to Redmond 🏜️
I had my bicep surgery 💪🏻

Now that I’m on the road to recovery, I’m grateful for this time I get to be at home with my family while I recover.

That being said, I’m already itching to get back to work, but it will be a while.
My goal is to return back to hair in the spring of 2027, however, it’s going to look a little different. I will solely be focusing on bridal hairstyling, no longer offering haircut and color services. I’ve made this decision so I may honor my body by not doing as much while still pursuing my passion. It was a difficult decision to make, but at the end of the day, there’s a saying “ if you don’t have your health, you have nothing.” I realized that if I wanted to continue to pursue hair, I need to do it in a way that doesn’t put more stress on my body.

After doing hair for 20 years, I’ve built so many relationships with everybody that has been in my chair, learned so many life lessons, I am eternally grateful.  I will deeply miss each and every one of you, my clients and coworkers, and yet I’m also excited for my new path that I’m pursuing. I look forward to returning back next year and seeing what this new journey brings.
