Full install on my lovely friend Kelly from winter 2021, and also a before & after pic on her first maintenance session a few months later. 88 dreadlocks total, and the thickest hair I've ever worked on to date!

I use a method of meticulous sectioning, backcombing, and crocheting with a set of special dreadlock crochet tools. This allows you to skip a good portion of the "ugly/awkward" maturing process and still wash your hair as normal! No waxes, chemicals, rubber bands or weird hair products are ever used!

Full sets take 12-18 hours usually to section out and create, sometimes even longer for very long and thick hair. Full root maintenance usually takes around 8 hours at minimum, usually more depending on amount of dreads. All extensions will now require a non-refundable deposit of $200 upon booking. If traveling outside of the local Brookings area, a gas coverage fee is required as well.

I do not offer removal services but am happy to guide you on how to comb out your own dreads! Yes this is a possibility!! No, you don't always have to shave your head. Patience and a large chunk of time is required but it can be done and a decent amount of hair length is salvageable based on your hair texture!

This was a fix/installation. Before was a set of dreads done by someone in the Arcata area. They were charged $200 for that. The next day I fixed them and turned them into very locked locks. One day difference before and after.
