I'm so pleased to share our shampoo area. We removed a wall, changed out the sinks, and added more cabinets. Next up is new chairs.

I am welcoming the new year with an educational trip to punta canna for two days of full days of attending classes and demonstrations with my fellow educators.

I am looking forward to bring back some fresh ideas and inspiration for all of you back home.

Happy 3 year Aniversary to Shear Pride.

It has been three wonderful and eventful years since I opened Shear Pride's doors.The amount of growth I have had in many facets of my life is thanks to each and every one of you. Allowing me the privilege of working with you on your hair journey, introducing me to your family, friends, and so on.

So, thank you so very much for your continued love and support. I look forward to many more years with you :)

We all know that I'm enjoying the new bigger space and finally getting to have real plants. A bunch of beverages and snack options. Along with the towel warmer for a more luxury feel.

What's your favorite thing about the new space?

Do you know what the difference between a haircut and curlycut is?

For me (all salons are different), the major difference between a haircut and curlycut is the time taken for the service.

Different heads of hair and curl patterns will need more time than others, along with different styling techniques needed for different results.

My main goal I will be to show you how to get the results you're dreaming of, be it defining and strengthening curls, loosening and taming, or even pressing and straightening your curls.

Today, I'm giving a huge shout out to my Mom (she doesn't like her picture taken). She persevered through the struggles of having a career, having one toddler, and then getting surprised with a set of triplets (Derek, Chase, and I). We celebrate our 32nd birthday today.

Thank you, mom, for everything you've done for us growing up and continue to do every day.

As many of you know, I love learning and improving on new skills!

Recently, I took a couple of intensive classes on adding hair through the use of extensions. Getting certified in both tape in and hand tied methods.

My biggest drive to learn the art of adding hair was so I couod have the ability to help q***r folks reduce dysphoria they may have associated with growing out their short hair, especially if it reads more masculine than they would like.

With these methods, I can help them achieve their dream hair safely and faster than their biological hair can.
