Helen and Dorothy is a natural, homemade soap brand born out of my family’s roots in the Lowcountry and P*e Dee regions of South Carolina. The name pays homage to my grandmothers, Helen Burns and Dorothy Wiggins. The palmetto leaf represents the state’s official tree and the usage of sweetgrass baskets pays homage to the ancestors who as slaves weaved the baskets to transport their goods. As a you
