Topic: Wash day 🫧 - How often should I wash my hair? 🤔

Natural Hair🌱: 7-14 days Curly/ Coily hair can have a harder time distributing your scalp's natural oil down the hair shaft. Washing too frequently can lead to dryness, while waiting too long can allow sweat, oil & product buildup to accumulate

For many of my clients 7-14 days works as a good starting point depending on lifestyle, product use, or what their hair tells them

Locs🔒: 3-4 weeks. Your loc wash schedule depends on your locs, scalp, lifestyle & where you are in your loc journey.
Washing too infrequently can contribute to buildup and roots growing together, while your technique and frequency also matter for maintaining the integrity of your locs.
For many of my loc clients, around 3 weeks is the sweet spot. 👌🏾

And remember these are guidelines not rules. Your scalp and hair will always tell you what it needs

If you're dealing with a scalp condition or have been given a specific wash schedule by a dermatologist or medical provider, always follow their recommendations. 🤎
