Over here at we not only love rituals but we also love all things Maracuyá aka Passionfruit. The flower pictured is the Passiflora Edulis, most commonly known as Passionfruit flower. The edible seeds are harvested from the fruit that grows on the vines , the fruit’s pulp is often consumed as is, made into juice and used in desserts. We bet you didn’t know that oil can also be extracted from the passionfruit seeds. The oil that is produced from the seeds is high in antioxidants, amino acids, carotenoids and linoleic acid (known to cause gentle skin exfoliation). Passionfruit seed oil also happens to be our hero ingredient in ORACLE, our facial elixir made of 30 botanicals. It’s also quite incredible to be able to still enjoy the tart and sweet aroma of the fruit in the oil, there’s really no other scent like it!

🌼We’re bringing back the dropper in 2021 🌼

We wanted to try out treatment pumps and give our customers the option to purchase a refill in our glass bottles and to continue to use their previous pump.

During packaging we couldn’t get over all the plastic waste the treatment pumps produced!

We still want to offer that refill option, it’s not perfect, we’re still researching other options, but it’s still less plastic going into landfills and the ocean. Going into business we knew we wanted to do what we could to be part of the solution and not the problem, we’re still learning so much each day and we’re hoping to bring you all not only the best skincare formulas but also the most sustainable and low waste packaging. We don’t want to claim to be zero waste, it’s a buzz word that’s thrown around with too much ease these days and a lot of the time it’s not true to the actual company operations. We’re not shaming any company, unfortunately the options aren’t the best and they are usually more expensive.

If you’ve ordered from us already you would have noticed our product was wrapped in bubble wrap, that bubble wrap has been carefully recycled by our founder over the years. Once we cycle through that collection we’ll be using other recycled packing materials. I can’t stress enough how important this is for us as a new business. It’s a lot of research, trial and error, but we’ll get there.
