Alicia Davis is the co-founder of SOTRO Innovations

Since she was a little girl, Alicia has been obsessed with all things hair and used her own to express her creativity. She enjoys coming up with unique ways to wear her curls for work, formals, and ALL occasion in between.

While styling her hair is fun, caring for it was always difficult and often took hours and a lot of physical effort. She always dreamed of having a salon in her home to make care and maintenance a breeze and is now able to realize that dream with the SOTRO mist steamer.

Steaming has not only made wash day short and sweet by easing detangling process, but has also helped Alicia retain length by reducing damage and improving her hair health. Her hair has been thriving and she hopes to help others find confidence in their ability to take care of their own curls and kinks!

Stephanie Louis is the CEO/Co-Founder/Inventor of SOTRO Innovations.

After many years of suffering through terrible salon experiences, Stephanie decided that she had had enough. For several months, she did her best to care for and style her hair on her own. But she simply did not have the time, resources or the specialized skill set to do so consistently. SOTRO was born from this need. Stephanie designed the innovative hair care tool line and specifically engineered it to make achieving salon quality results in the comfort of one’s home remarkably easy. And when made simpler, hair care can be the best form of self care. With SOTRO, Stephanie looks to inspire and empower others to get the most out of their existing (or emergent) hair care routines - intersecting her passions for hair health, sustainability and cultivating self-confidence.
