Today was exhausting, but I made it through.

Some days in this journey feel lighter than others, and today reminded me that healing takes strength, grace, patience, and a whole lot of faith.

I’m learning not to judge the day by how much I accomplish, but by the fact that I keep showing up.

One treatment at a time.
One day at a time.
One prayer at a time.

Thank you to everyone who continues to check on me, pray for me, encourage me, and remind me that I am not walking this road alone.

I’m tired today… but I’m still grateful.
Still hopeful.
Still moving forward.

55 feels different. 💕

First, thank you so much for all of the birthday love, calls, texts, messages and prayers. I’m truly grateful to see 55.

If you’ve noticed that I suddenly disappeared from social media for the past couple of months, this is why.

At the beginning of this year, I became an Oncology Trained Esthetician because I wanted to better support my clients, family and other women navigating cancer treatment and the changes it can bring to their skin.

I never imagined that just a few months later, I would be using that training on myself.

This summer, after several tests and appointments, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts.

My medical team and I moved quickly. I underwent surgery, and I’m incredibly grateful that the cancer was caught early, my margins were clear, and my lymph nodes were clear. 🙏🏾

And now, today, I begin the next part of my healing journey: radiation treatment.

This season has changed my perspective in ways I’m still processing. It has reminded me to appreciate life, listen to my body, protect my peace, trust God, and never take another day for granted.

I’m still Q. 💕
Still a woman of faith.
Still an esthetician.
Still a business owner.
Still dreaming.
Still building.
And most importantly… still here.

So yes, you’ll be seeing me again. 😊 I may move a little differently and give myself more grace along the way, but I’m excited to reconnect with you and share more of this next chapter.
