A Guide to Nourishing Your Body Mind And Spirit
Health Coach and Nutritional Chef Lisa Mattera What Nourishes us? Is it the food that we eat? I'm Lisa Mattera.

Is it the work that we do? Does your work make you happy? Is it the god that we pray too? Do you pray or meditate? How about your relationships and daily activities? The answer is all of the above. All of life should nourish us. It starts with nutrition and choosing whole nutritious foods. Understanding this requires us to adopt a new prespective on food and our view on what is healthy and nourishing to us as individuals in our daily lives. I'm A certified health and wellness coach and nutritional chef. I'm here to help you unlearn the distructive habits that have been harming you so that you can live your life to it's fullest potential. To help you figure out as an individual what works for you. As you start to learn your own inner body and what is good for you as an individual, you will begin to really listen to it and fill your body with whole natural foods that will nourish you and the rest will follow. Food matters. Everything on your plate matters. Make sure that you fill that plate with whole nourishing ingredients. On this page I will share with you healthy recipes, inspiration, excersize tips, and everything you may need for your journey to health and wellness. As a health coach I will be offering one on one health coaching as well as group wellness and group weight loss classes. I am also offering Pantry clean-up and a healthy shopping tour of your local supermarket or health food store. As a nutritional chef I will be offering healthy cooking classes for adults and children in your home or at a public location in which I will post. Please visit my website at

Jammy Tomatoes with whipped cottage cheese on sourdough toast.
Been loving this meal for breakfast, brunch or lunch most days of the week lately. Filled with protein, fiber and flavor! The garlic, herbs, extra virgin olive oil and tomatoes are everything in this dish. Perfect if you’re following the Mediterranean way of eating. You can use ricotta instead of cottage cheese if you like.

Heart healthy Wild Sockeye Salmon is what’s for lunch today. It’s definitely one of my favorites. Topped with my very own yogurt dill sauce all wrapped up with power greens in a 45 calorie whole wheat plus wrap. Wow that was a mouthful. 😅.

Ladies who lunched yesterday are still with each other in spirit this morning. A beautiful day yesterday with my good friend Jill of . A day of celebration and inspiring each other and great pizza too from . What more can a girl ask for? This is LaVilla’s Prosciutto e Rochetta pie and it’s always been a favorite of mine!
This morning ( as friend Jill suggested) I added an egg to the top of one of the leftover slices and in the air fryer it went.

Saturday Brunch always seems more special to me. I guess it’s a habit that I haven’t seem to shake from the 9 to 5 days. But brunch should be special any day of the week.
I’m such a fan of polenta. I first had this dish when I was about 14 years old at my uncles farm in Conneticut and even this it will never taste the same as the first time that I e eaten it it’s always been a favorite of mine. This is 🤫wanna know a secret? It’s supposed to be polenta but it’s actually cream of wheat 🤩and it’s delicious! Grilled asparagus, cheesy cream of wheat with EVOO and poached eggs made in the egg cooker! I am one lucky girl!
