VIC 💎 The perfect example of how to keep your platinum fresh!!! It IS a big commitment and requires major upkeep. Maintenance is key, using the right products that don’t strip the toner or color (I used High Speed Silver Toner by with this round of bleaching) AND provide moisture and nourishment back into the hair. Our favorite is for that!! With platinums, it is essential to do your part at home to keep the hair’s integrity and health so that it can withstand repeated bleaching. Vic sees me about every 4 weeks to touch up her roots, since new growth can NOT be longer than 1/2 and inch to prevent yellow banding. And her hair grows fast! We did this cut and color a few weeks ago, so she’s due to call me any moment now!! 🤣

I thought it would only be fitting to post the transformative bold haircut of a lovely and talented artist I met at a paint + sip . Those who know me know I love love love long hair! However, there are times in life that you must break from old patterns, comforts, and habits and breathe in a radical change that will catapult you to a fresher, wiser, and more evolved version of yourself. 🌟

Since I live vicariously through my clients and my work, I thought this change on Farrah would display what I’m feeling in my life right now. And btw, what guts it takes to just chop all your hair off! She didn’t even flinch!! People say all the time, “it’s just hair!” or “it’s hair, it grows”. But I disagree. It’s perspective when it comes to how fast hair grows and it’s your number one accessory! It’s one of your vital components of self expression! This was the first major cut in what’s now become my new hair home 💖 Hope you enjoy it as much as I did cutting it!!
