When you get a spinal adjustment at ACCURATE CHIROPRACTIC, we use many techniques. One special adjusting technique called the Thompson Technique uses a Thompson terminal drop table seen on the right. This is an exacting and uniquely CHIROPRACTIC technique used to gently adjust the spine. The Thompson technique was developed by the man on the left in the brown coat. He is pictured with one of the founders of CHIROPRACTIC. Dr. Clay Thompson had a miraculous recovery and became a CHIROPRACTOR and developed the table and the technique and trained one of our doctors before he died. ACCURATE CHIROPRACTIC is rooted in traditional CHIROPRACTIC care. We do not used new fangled machines. We use our hands to adjust the spine because these techniques are based on double blind research and because our hands can feel or palpate issues in the spine a machine may miss. At the July 28, 2026, Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting, members of the local Purple Heart chapter spoke about the importance of honoring wounded veterans and their families. There is such a thing as over exercising and over strengthening without appropriate rest in certain muscle groups.

Our office prescribes spinal stabilization exercises three times a week as optimum for slow and steady growth.

Exercising back muscles 5 to 6 times a week does not really allow correct recovery time.

We encourage patients to follow our exercise guidelines as the day progresses.

Do a few on your bed top, do a few while getting dressed, do a few stabilization exercises standing at the sink and by the end of the day - you will have completed all your home work spinal stabilization exercises and you will need less and less corrective care.
