If you’re looking to get microblading or any other permanent makeup done please ensure that you’re not pregnant. If you’re pregnant or think you may be pregnant, please wait until after your pregnancy to get services done for a few reasons:

1) Topical anesthetics that were artists use often contain epinephrine. Epinephrine has been linked to fetal tachycardia and cardiac problems.

2) Pregnancy hormones affect your blood circulation which may make you bleed more during your procedure. Too much bleeding may result in an unsatisfactory outcome due to it potentially fading the pigment or influence the absorption into the skin.

3) Some pregnant women experience hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin around the mouth, cheeks, and forehead). Once pregnancy has come to an end and hyperpigmentation has subsided, the color chosen during the procedure may not match the color of your natural skin.

Again, please refrain from getting any work done while pregnant.

Many people are curious or afraid of how painful the procedure is.
I’ve been told that it feels about as painful as getting your brows waxed and the level of pain is between 3-4/10 when they’ve been able to feel it.
I’m also a huge proponent on keeping my client as pain free as possible so I use a lot of numbing cream!
Keep in mind, the pain isn’t consistent (if felt at all) as the strokes aren’t continuous…

Microblading is a semi permanent technique that creates the appearance of real hair strokes in the brow using a needle. It typically lasts 15-24 months with one touch up 6 weeks after the initial session.

During the 90s and early 2000s, women plucked their eyebrows to the point that it became a thin line. After years of doing so, we came to find out that the brows never grow back. If they do grow back, they end up being scarce or super thin that they don’t create any real substance of depth or a true shape.

Microblading is also great for individuals who have never really had brows at all or have gone through chemotherapy.

The typical microblading session takes about 2.5-3 hours with the mapping process taking the longest amount of time.

Mapping is drawing with string and rulers the outline of the eyebrow that will be created. My clients are 100% involved in the mapping process! They say whether or not they like the shape created as well as the thickness of the brow. I aim to please and will only touch the brow with the needles as soon as my client LOVES their new brow outline!
