So… to start this post, I’d like to say that I’m thankful and will always remain grateful to my former employer. I was provided with the best education, learned so much about my industry and have honestly enjoyed my journey.
With that being said… the last few years that were all about navigating how to begin to build a family with my husband, the arrival of our beautiful child ( ) , a global pandemic, surgeries required for our newborn, learning how to parent while growing my career, finding a new balance between work and life and trying to be my best self/husband/son/brother/father… all of these things are so intertwined I can’t untangle a single thread. As set in my ways and as stubborn as I am, I recognized it was time for change.
It’s hard leaving your comfort zone and a place that you always felt was home. I decided to take the giant leap and to hold the keys to unlock all of my hopes and dreams on my own. I will always love and cherish my time at Acapello and my connection to the the town of Freeport and surrounding communities.
I am now behind the chair at Studio 119 in Brunswick on Bath Road in Brunswick. Change is hard, but so is life. I will continue to grow and learn (a new color line and products), but I am embracing this change and taking this opportunity to be the best version of me.
