Brush, sponge … or bare hands? 🤔

I get this question all the time, and I get why it’s confusing. You’ll see all three out there, but with Seint cream foundation my preference is a brush and here’s why.

Seint is a cream, not a liquid. It’s meant to be buffed into the skin, not soaked up or smeared on.

A brush gives you:
• a smoother application
• a more even blend
• beautifully dispersed product (without overdoing it)

While you’ll probably see lots of videos of women applying with their fingers, I find a brush gives a much more seamless, polished finish.

🧽 As for the Perfector Sponge, this is where it shines: It’s perfect for completing the blend and lightly pressing in setting spray at the end for that extra skin-like finish.

✋ Hands? Totally fine for quick, light coverage days, but a little trickier to get that even, blended look.

My go-to:
Brush first … Perfector sponge to finish.

If your makeup has ever felt a little heavy or uneven… it might not be the makeup, it might just be the tool.

Do you need a Seint Brush? YES!!

The difference in your application and coverage can vary greatly depending on what you're using to apply!

Finger - I use for my lip & cheeks, and in a jam to apply my highlights and contours
Smudge brush - LOVE! Great for application, and the double ended brush gives one end for contour, and one for highlights!

Other brushes - brushes not made of synthetic nylon can hold and 'eat' more of your product, wasting your creams!
Seint brushes - meant for use with cream, and made from synthetic nylon, and will give you the best application!❤️

Pro Tip: Smudge brush is my fav for application!
Detail brush is my fav for contouring & blending!
Blush+Bronzer brush is my fav for cheeks and bronzer!

It’s not always about the shade, it’s how you use it ✨

Same eyeshadow. Four completely different results.

This little visual shows how much impact your application method has:

• Eyeshadow Brush - fluffy side = soft, diffused wash
• Eyeshadow Brush - small side= more control + depth
• Smudge Brush = richer, more concentrated colour
• Finger = bold, full payoff

If you’ve ever felt like your shadows “aren’t showing up” or don’t look quite right, it’s often not the product, it’s the tool (or technique).

Before you buy something new, try using what you already have differently. You might be surprised what’s sitting in your makeup bag 💫
